Business Event Photography Done Right

We’ve all seen it before. Business event photos featuring one group shot after the next, people holding their cocktails, smiling at the camera in an ultra-posed shot. Melissa Crown Photography does Business Event Photography differently!

Be it an extravagant charity gala, the company Christmas party, an HOA event, or a Sip & Shop for your clients, having a professional photographer is the best way to capture all the work that went into the day, while STILL ENJOYING THE DAY! I'll tell the story of the event in a sincere, colorful, lighthearted way. The resulting photos will be social media GOLD. Engaging, connected, in-the-moment professional photography that you can share with your organic market and use for years to come!

More than a posed shot

There is nothing “wrong” with posed shots, but if you really want to capture the essence of your event, the best thing to do is to work with me to capture people interacting naturally. When I do a Business Event photoshoot, I look for opportunities to capture attendees:

● Enjoying your space

● Interacting with you, your team, and each other

● Having fun and connecting

● The essence of the event itself, be it community, fun, exchange of ideas, etc

Leveraging Images from Your Event

Before your event, we’ll have a consultation so I can learn more about your business and understand the images you need to capture. Unlike a planned photoshoot, business event photography requires real-time expertise. I need to be able to look at an event in progress, and anticipate what shots are going to be most beneficial to you in the future. This is something that comes naturally to me, but it has taken years to perfect my craft in order to be in the right place, at the right time, and maintain a candid feel.

The great thing about business event photography is that the images I take and deliver to you can be used for years to come. Clients use images from their events to:

● Engage with attendees after the event and in some cases, build hype for future events

● Marketing for future events

● Marketing for their business in general

● Update their website

● Create promotional and social media content

● show the heart of their business

The bottom line is, I focus on capturing images that showcase people interacting with your space and your company in a natural way! Sure, we may toss in a few of those traditional posed shots, but those aren’t going to be the scroll-stopping images you use in your marketing, or to memorialize your event for years to come!
